Police arrested a domestic worker who robbed Dh50,000 worth jewellery from the apartment owner for whom he worked for.

Dubai: Police arrested a domestic worker who robbed Dh50,000 worth jewellery from the apartment owner for whom he worked for.

Police suspected an Asian who worked for the victim temporarily.

The suspect confessed to stealing the jewellery and hiding them at his residence in Al Riffa, Dubai.

Police warned people against employing workers on a temporary basis.
