Dubai: Police arrested a suspect who broke into and stole from lockers at car-rental agencies in Naif and Al Garhoud areas.

Dubai Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) said special teams were formed after receiving complaints.

The suspect broke into the offices of car-rental agencies, broke open the internal doors and used a metal pole to break lockers.

On April 30, the CID teams were able to arrest an Asian man by matching fingerprints with the ones found at the crime scene.

During interrogation, the man confessed to entering the country illegally and stealing.
