Shaikha Dr Rasha Al Qasimi, Board Member and Assistant Director General for Health, Environment & Quality Affairs of Sharjah Municipality, urged people not to seek the help of a pest control company without checking its legitmacy and whether it is licensed or not.
“You can call 993 at the Sharjah Municiplaity and they will help you.”
She added that people should be careful of companies that leave their leaftlets and cards on door steps, especially if the numbers provided are only those of mobile phones and do not include a landline.
She said that might indicate they are not a real company as they do not have an office.
