One killed and five others injured as water tanker hits car in Ras Al Khaimah
An Omani woman died and five of her family members sustained serious injuries when the car driven by the victim's brother was hit by a water tanker at Al Kharran roundabout in Ras Al Khaimah on Monday.
Ras Al Khaimah: An Omani woman died and five of her family members sustained serious injuries when the car driven by the victim's brother was hit by a water tanker at Al Kharran roundabout in Ras Al Khaimah on Monday.
Major Ahmad Al Shumaili, head of Traffic Section at Al Digdaga Police Station, said the 50-year-old Omani woman died on the spot.
Major Al Shumaili said the Omani driver was at Al Kharran roundabout when a water tanker driven by a 30-year-old Indian national entered the roundabout without checking and hit the car.
Police arrested the Indian driver of the water tanker.
