Dubai: Two men have been jailed for trying to sell a woman - who had just escaped from the hands of her pimp, back into the sex industry.
The Dubai Court of First Instance sentenced the Bangladeshi men, 37-year-old visitor M.S. and 24-year-old laundry worker Z.A., to five years each in jail.
Records said the 24-year-old Indonesian woman had just fled from the hands of her pimp before she fell into the hands of the duo who tried to sell her for Dh10,000.
They pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting the maid, N.B., and trying to sell her to a secret police agent to make her work in the sex industry.
