Man jailed for molesting girl in bakery

Ras Al Khaimah: A 60-year-old bakery employee will serve three years in jail followed by deportation on charges of molesting and trying to rape a nine-year-old girl, an official from the Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Criminal Court of First Instance, said.

The girl had gone to the bakery to buy bread. The girl's parents had filed a complaint with the RAK police in December, accusing the Pakistani baker of touching the child's private parts and attempting to rape her. The Egyptian girl, however, managed to escape.
