Man found murdered in Sharjah
A man's body was found in the Umm Khanour area on Thursday.
Sharjah: A man's body was found in the Umm Khanour area on Thursday.
Sharjah Police confirmed the man was found with his legs bound together with rope and that he had head injuries. The Indian was found on the road by a passer-by at 1.30pm.
Police say it seems he was hit on the head with a metal bar because his skull was cracked open.
"We are investigating the crime," a police official said.
"We received a report from a member of the public who saw the body on the road," a police source from Al Hira police station said.
