Abu Dhabi: A 53-year-old Indian man died instantly after falling from the fourteenth floor of a building, officials told Gulf News.

According to rescue officials, the man fell off the balcony of his apartment in Baynunah Tower located along the Al Nasr Street, Abu Dhabi.

"The incident happened around 10am. According to the wife of the deceased, the man was hanging clothes to dry as he fell off," said an official, who requested anonymity. Previous medical records of the person shows that he suffered from diabetes, so there is a possibility that the man could have become dizzy and tripped off to death, added the official. Police are investigating the case.

Meanwhile, another Indian man died in a run-over accident late on Tuesday along the airport road. "The man was trying to cross the road when he was run over by a vehicle."
