Sharjah: An Asian man has reportedly committed suicide in his flat in Sharjah, an official at the Sharjah Police told Gulf News yesterday.

The police said that a Pakistani man reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope on Thursday. He was found hanging from the ceiling in a flat in Sharjah.
Officials from the Criminal Investigation Department and forensic experts inspected the scene of the incident after Al Heira police reported the incident at 1.37pm on Thursday, an official said. The body was transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy while the police have started an investigation into the incident.
