Dubai: An Emirati man got more than he bargained for when he walked into his own house to discover his Filipina maid having sex with her Indian boyfriend on the couch in his living room.
The maid, identified only as A.M., was brought to court on September 7 along with her boyfriend, M.A., a driver, on charges of consensual sex. For M.A. there was the added charge of trespassing, since he was illegally let into the house by his girlfriend.
To turn up the heat on this already sizzling story, M.A. confessed all to the authorities, saying he had been in a relationship with A.M for two years. He told officers at Al Muraqqabat police station that he received a call from A.M. asking him to come over to the house in Al Mamzar where she worked as a maid. Driving one of his employer's cars, M.A. rushed over to Mamzar to meet his lady love. "I waited a while outside the house before she signalled that it was OK to let me in, after making sure everyone in the house was asleep," he says.
"She [then] escorted me to the living room and sat me down on the sofa. She was wearing a black nightgown. She kissed me on the mouth, took off her clothes and then mine, and then we were having sex."
Short-lived joy
Their joy, however, was short-lived, when M.S., the Emirati home owner, walked in on them.
The Emirati, who works as an account manager, said he was in the outdoor quarters of his villa watching television while the couple had their rendezvous. "When I came back home I found the living room door locked. I assumed the maid had locked the doors like she does every night," he told police officers.
So as not to create any disturbance, M.S. climbed into the house through the living room window. "It was dark. When I switched on the light, I found a man completely naked lying on my sofa with our helper," he said.
Naturally, the Indian driver's first instinct was to jump up and immediately put on his clothes. "When I asked him what he was doing here, he didn't answer," said M.S. who then tried to chase M.A. as he proceeded to run away. Unsure of what to do next, M.S. decided against taking matters into his own hands and to leave the decision making to the legal authorities. "I called the police and reported the incident," he said.
Both defendants pleaded guilty to charges of consensual sex during prosecution investigations. However, in a further twist to the tale, it then came to light that both A.M and M.A. are married to other people. While M.S. has a wife in India, A.M. begged the authorities for forgiveness, saying she regretted her action and wanted them to treat her with mercy since she is a married woman, with repercussions to deal with.
A final verdict is expected on September 15.
