Fujairah resident in the dock for illegally photographing women

A Russian man has appeared in court on Tuesday, charged with illegally taking photographs of unsuspecting women from his balcony overlooking the Hamad Bin Abdullah Street in Fujairah.

Fujairah: A Russian man has appeared in court on Tuesday, charged with illegally taking photographs of unsuspecting women from his balcony overlooking the Hamad Bin Abdullah Street in Fujairah.

Police arrested the suspect after receiving complaints about the man being spotted taking the snaps and he was later charged by the Fujairah Public Prosecution with breaching the privacy of women.

The suspect is thought to have cancelled his residency and was looking to go back home for family reasons. A court decision is expected on the April 22.
