An Emirati woman, her two daughters-in-law and her daughter died yesterday in the accident on Wadi Al Koub-Wadi Al Aym Street.
Three other daughters and a son sustained serious injuries and were taken to Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah and Al Dhaid Public Hospital in Sharjah. They were all admitted to the intensive care unit.
The eight family members from Wadi Al Koub were on their way to Wadi Al Aym to congratulate a relative on her newborn baby. The female driver lost control of the vehicle which overturned several times and landed at the bottom of the valley.
The dead have been identified as M.A. in her fifties, her five-year-old daughter M.M and her two daughters-in-law A.A and M.A, in their mid-twenties.
