Dubai bus driver faces charges of molesting
Records said the Pakistani driver touched the shoulder and arm of the Algerian saleswoman and offered to take her to a hotel when he drove her from Ajman to Dubai.
Dubai: A minibus driver is facing charges of molesting a saleswoman.
Records said the Pakistani driver, 32, touched the shoulder and arm of the Algerian saleswoman, 22, and offered to take her to a hotel when he drove her from Ajman to Dubai.
The Public Prosecution charged the suspect, Z.M., with harassing and molesting her when he told her that he wanted to take her to his house or to a hotel room.
"The driver agreed to drive me from Ajman to Dubai for Dh10...he dropped the other six passengers and I was seated in the front passenger's seat...He turned towards Al Mamzar area and...he touched my arm...then rubbed my shoulder and arm. He said he wanted to take me to his house or to a hotel," testified the girl.
