Drugs land Emirati man in jail for four years
The Fujairah Court of First Instances sentenced an Emirati man to four years in prison for possessing and consuming narcotics.
Fujairah: The Fujairah Court of First Instances sentenced an Emirati man to four years in prison for possessing and consuming narcotics.
After H.M.M, 38, was involved in a car crash last November, police searched his car on suspicion that the driver was not in a full mental state and found two Hashish joints.
At court, H.M.M., denied he was high on drugs during the accident, claiming that he was actually drunk.
The judge in the case did not believe his claims and found him guilty of the possession and consumption of drugs.
