Crime Scene Investigation (CSI):

Provides a virtual training environment to simulate a crime scene to help the trainee experience investigations by carrying out various tasks similar to real crime scenes.

The trainee will explore a virtual crime scene and search for clues to build a solid case and bring offenders to justice.

This is a detective programme also adopted by Dubai Police Academy.

 

Traffic Accident Investigation (TAI):

Trains police personnel on how to investigate various types of traffic accidents by giving the trainee the ability to carry out the investigation procedures in which they play the role of the investigating officer. Accidents vary from a minor accident to a multi-car pile-up. The trainee has to deal with injured people, secure the scene, question witnesses, divert traffic on roads and deal with evidence.

 

Body language:

Training police officers and staff on how to understand and interpret body language is very important. This tool aims to provide a training platform to help understand the non-verbal signals used when people communicate, which could help during investigation and security work. Photos and recorded videos of investigations in several crime cases are used and the trainee must detect physical gestures with special expressions. This has been developed using the latest technology which works on multiple devices and operating systems, including PlayBook from BlackBerry, iOS from Apple and Android from Google.

 

SWAT 2D and 3D:

Swat 3D (Special Weapon and Tactics) is a multiplayer virtual environment in which the SWAT team is divided into smaller units to bring a situation to order. It aims to create a training environment that will allow the SWAT team to test and improve their current skills.

The SWAT 2D helps the SWAT team to be trained on different operations, such as rescuing hostages. The training helps the team hone its skills and enables trainees to decide what is required from them in various situations.

 

Traffic Fines:

This programme trains police on how to deal with various kinds of traffic violations and how to issue traffic fines by using video and images and how to identify different violations.

 

Face sketch:

This allows police to create a 3D facial composite based on eyewitness accounts.

 

Passenger Screening:

The Passenger Screening 2D aims to train security officers at the airport on the correct procedure in passenger screening. This programme includes photos and recorded videos.

While passenger screening in 3D trains security officers at checkpoints on how to screen passengers in a virtual environment. It helps officers focus on observing skills and to deal with passengers courteously and be able to make the right decision quickly.

Animated films for training and sharing experiences with security agencies and also to raise the awareness of the community on safety and security.
