Celebration: Police call on residents to follow safety rules
Dubai Police has called on all residents to enjoy Eid safety by following safety and security rules while driving, and prevent their children from using fireworks.
Dubai: Dubai Police has called on all residents to enjoy Eid safety by following safety and security rules while driving, and prevent their children from using fireworks.
Brigadier Abdul Jalil Mahdi, deputy director of criminal investigation for precautionary security, said the department has instructed police stations to increase patrols and take necessary measures for Eid.
Swimmers must not swim deeply into the sea since currents can change suddenly, Mahdi said.
He advised residents who plan to go abroad during the holiday to register at the police's home safety service.
