Cashier and shop owner jailed for supermarket scam
A cashier of a well-known supermarket and a grocery shop owner have been jailed for two years for a supermarket scam.
Fujairah: A cashier of a well-known supermarket and a grocery shop owner have been jailed for two years for a supermarket scam.
The Fujairah Criminal Court convicted 29-year-old cashier and 30-year-old shop owner, both Indians, of scamming the supermarket by arranging to pay only Dh100 for Dh500 worth of merchandise.
The pair was suspected by supermarket security and after further investigation by police both admitted to the scam.
