Dubai: An Ethiopian woman told a court on Wednesday that she was forced to have sex with men who would then pay her ‘pimp.' Only one out of four men would give her any money.
The 24-year-old woman told the Dubai Court of First Instance on Wednesday: "I used to have sex with so many men. I used to take money from one man and have sex with three others for free because my arbab [boss] used to collect the money."
According to the charge sheet, prosecutors accused HM of working as a prostitute and having sex with men for money.
She was also charged with having consensual sex with a 50-year-old Pakistani driver.
When Presiding Judge Maher Salama Al Mahdi asked HM if she was used to having sex with strange men for money, she pleaded guilty.
"And with how many men did you have sex for money?" asked the judge.
She replied in weak Arabic that she used to make one client pay her money and the next three men gave the money instead to her ‘pimp'.
"Arbab used to take the money," she contended.
The Ethiopian also confessed that she allowed 50-year-old MA to have consensual sex with her.
"Yes I am guilty… I slept with her," MA said when he defended himself in courtroom four.
Police detained the driver and the woman who, records said, worked as a housemaid in Al Muraqabat.
During police and prosecution questioning, both confessed to the charges. A verdict will be delivered on May 25.
