Sharjah: The abandoned body of a four-month-old girl was found by Sharjah Police in Al Khan area near a seafood restaurant late on Monday.
The body of the baby girl was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital and was later referred to the forensic laboratory to verify the cause of death.
This is the third case of an abandoned child found by Sharjah Police in one month.
The first child was found at Al Faisal mosque, and a 16-month-old boy was then later found abandoned in a toilet at Al Sahabah mosque.
The two infants were found alive and were placed in the custody of the Social Services Department.

Where is the conscience of these people? There are a lot of women and couples out there waiting to have a baby but never had and they are just doing as easy as that. How cruel they are. Authorities must be more vigilant to catch these people.

There cannot be anything as inhuman as this. Ask those people who don't have kids and they pray day and night to have one. I cannot imagine that parents can be that cruel. I hope they get the punishment for their actions.

No doubt this is an insane act and everybody has a right to blame the guilty but as far as I think no other can do this unless she is under tremendous pressure. Who knows under what circumstance she must have taken this action. But it's a humble request to the people, kindly never ever abandon the baby. There are people/organizations which take care of orphans. If you do not want a baby, hand it over to them and they will care for them but don't leave them to die.

It's heartbreaking! There is no valid reason to abandon or kill a child - not poverty or even previous mistakes. As parents, we must always remember that children are blessings from above.

The authorities have to find a way to catch these parents "criminals" who can get rid of their flesh and soul easily in the streets. Undercovered agents need to be spread in the streets to monitor such people and take corrective actions against them. And the infants need to be raised in safe fully equiped shelters.

Yesterday i read the news before going to bed. I couldn't sleep i kept thinking of that cruel parent, it is true that its very hard to take care of child if it is maybe without a father, but killing your own kid? i dont know! i have a son and he is my life light. i would do anything for him. A normal mother will never ever do that to her own kid!

I was shocked to hear this news as I was blessed with two lovely boys and I have wished for a baby Girl. Those people who are blessed with a girl child should love them and give them lots of love, not to abandon them on streets. It's a blessing and girls should be given a proper home. This act has to be stopped. May be the authority could keep a few undercover patrols to keep an eye on such people, to catch them and give them their deserved punishments for commiting such crime.

hi to all, my comments for that situation for the mother who abandoned thier children maybe they dont know who is the father of that child and maybe she cannot afford for everything they need its hard to care the child without a father. Thats why maybe the husbund of that mother he left from them. There could be amny reasons.
