12 injured as minibus skids and hits a fence in Dubai
Twelve passengers were injured when a minibus transporting them home after work skidded and hit a fence near Dubai Police Academy late on Sunday.

- Eleven passengers sustained moderate injuries and one was seriously injured and was taken to hospital, said the police.
Dubai: Twelve passengers were injured when a minibus transporting them home after work skidded and hit a fence near Dubai Police Academy late on Sunday.
Eleven passengers sustained moderate injuries and one was seriously injured and was taken to hospital, said the police.
Police said the minibus went over the pavement before hitting the fence.
The Pakistani driver of the minibus, which was carrying 27 passengers, told police that the brakes of the bus did not work.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
