Manama: In a heart-warming gesture, a Saudi wife gifted her husband a Tahoe Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
The gesture by the wife, from Qurayyat, a city in Al Jawf Province in northern Saudi Arabia, was greatly appreciated by relatives and friends of the couple who saw it a great indication of their love.
The wife, a teacher, had the vehicle parked at their house and wrapped in a gift wrapping paper. She then waited for her husband to come home and find the pleasant surprise, Arar News, a local news site reported.
She later said that she wanted to show her gratefulness to her husband for sharing with her the responsibilities of building their children’s character and helping them grow up.
Bloggers in a country where public expressions or manifestations of love and affection are rare were prompt to praise the wife for her thoughtfulness and appreciation and complimented her on her dedication to her husband.
