Qatar enacts new rent law
Qatar has enacted a new rent law that is expected to help curb rising inflation, a newspaper reported on Saturday.
Doha: Qatar has enacted a new rent law that is expected to help curb rising inflation, a newspaper reported on Saturday.
The 31-article law sets out the responsibilities of landlords and tenants, The Peninsula newspaper reported.
Cabinet was also expected to lower a cap on rent increases that landlords from 7 per cent to 3 per cent.
