Muscat: Gulf News reader Ali Zaheer has taken video footage of the flooding that has hit Oman because of cyclone Gonu.
Ali was in Muscat attending a meeting when the storm struck and found his route back to the UAE blocked as roads flooded.
He sent Gulf News the video and said: “We're now stranded. We stuck to the television in the hotel and didn't attempt to drive or walk as six inches of moving water can sweep you off your feet!''
