Omani killed in car accident in Batinah region
Omani driver loses control of car while travelling to Maawil area
Muscat An Omani citizen died Wednesday when his car veered off road while he was travelling from Birka to Maawil area in Batinah region.
The road accidents continue to take a high toll with nine deaths reported last week. About 135 people were injured from 137 accidents reported by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) during the week.
The police have urged residents to drive carefully and abide by traffic rules, including speed limits to avoid accidents.
