Muscat: Eight top stand-up comedians in the region will perform at the Muscat Inter-Continental Hotel on Saturday as part of the Middle East tour of ‘FunBassadors of Comedy’, a new comedy show.

The first stop of the Middle East tour in Muscat is brought by Light & Shadow enterprises LLC.

“Not since the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour has such a diverse group of comedians delivered an event of this type and scale in the Middle East,” said Nitin Mirani, Founder and CEO of Komic Sutra & Laugh Your Assets Off.

FunBassadors brings together the talents of Dubai-based comedians Brent Jenkins (US), Lamya Tawfik (Egypt), Maher Barwany (Africa), Ray Addison (UK), Rami Salame (Lebanon), Imran Al Aradi (Pakistan) and Mirani (India).

The FunBassadors of Comedy tour will then move to the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain and Lebanon. This edition of the show will also feature Oman’s very own Adnan Nalwala, a popular locally based comedian.
