Indian School Muscat girl wins Green Olympiad

Muscat:Tanvi Gupta, a Class X Indian School Muscat student has won the ‘Country Winner’ title at the Green Olympiad 2011. Green Olympiad is an international examination conducted every year by The Energy and Resource Institute, New Delhi and sponsored by the Indian Ministry of Environment and Forest.

Tanvi was awarded a certificate and a sum of $208.00 This is the third year in succession the she has won the title ‘Country Winner’ in the Green Olympiad from Oman. She was also part of the ISM team that won Terraquiz 2011, an international quiz on environment and climate change.
