Muscat:  Thirteen people were killed and 181 others injured in traffic accidents during the week ending on October 29, according to statistics released by the Public Relations Department of the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

Of the total of 142 traffic accidents in the country, the eastern region saw the most fatal crashes in which six people died.

There were three fatal accidents each in Muscat and Dhahirah region.

In a seprate incident, two vehicles collided in the Masken area of Ibri, killing two people.
