Manama: A roaring boom heard all over Kuwait on Monday was caused by an aircraft breaking the sound barrier, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) said.
Interior ministry spokesperson Col. Mohammad Al Sabr assured the people that the sonic boom was not an explosion although it sounded like it, and that it was the result of an aircraft exceeding the speed of sound.
