Manama: A Kuwaiti lawmaker has asked the foreign minister about the grants offered to Jordan.

"What is the amount of the grants, credits and donations presented by the state of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Jordan, whether the Arab Development Fund or any other official agency since March 1, 1991 until the present time?" MP Osama Al Menawer, asked Shaikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Sabah, news sites reported.

The lawmaker did not explain the reasons for his question.
