Kuwait Emir appoints Shaikh Jaber to form Cabinet
Shaikh Jaber will now form the government and will present the names of the ministers to the Emir for endorsement
Manama: Kuwait's Emir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah has reappointed Shaikh Jaber Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah as prime minister following the parliamentary elections and the resignation of the caretaker government.
Shaikh Jaber will now form the government and will present the names of the ministers to the Emir for endorsement, according to the Emiri decree issued on Monday evening.
The decree was announced after Shaikh Sabah received separately former parliament speakers Ahmad Al Saadoon and Jassem Al Khorafi and the former prime minister Shaikh Nasser Al Mohammad for the traditional consultations.
