Manama: A Kuwaiti national wanted by Kuwait and other countries for his involvement in funding terrorists has been arrested, a local daily said on Thursday.
“The national who was arrested is in his 30s and is wanted for his terror-linked activities,” Al Jareeda daily said. “He is suspected of recruiting young men keen on going to specific countries to fight. He has funded terrorists wanted by Iraq, Yemen, Iran and Afghanistan,” the daily said.
The paper did not name the suspect who was arrested as he was completing papers at an immigration office in Al Farawniya, south of Kuwait City.
