Beirut: Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states to Lebanon have reaffirmed the keenness of their countries on Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability.

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdul Aal Al Qenaie, on behalf of GCC Ambassadors accredited to Lebanon, lauded the strong ties between the parties. According to Kuwait’s official news agency, Kuna, he made these remarks after his meeting with Lebanon’s newly-appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gebran Bassil.

During the meeting they exchanged views on the close relations between the sides and regional developments. The Kuwaiti ambassador expressed the hope that formation of the Lebanese government would pave the way for further national understandings and enhance security and stability countrywide.
