"The campaign raised 1,427,961 Dinars," Shaikh Fawaz Bin Mohammad Al Khalifa said. "It was a religious, moral and patriotic duty and the IAA assumed it. I wish to thank all those contributed to raising the funds," he said as he handed a cheque to Mustafa Al Syed, the secretary-general of the Royal Charity Foundation.
