Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday received Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda.

Their discussions touched on areas of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of economy, investment, development and political issues of mutual concern. Shaikh Mohammad and Kagame also discussed opportunities for bolstering cooperation to wider avenues to serve the mutual interest of both countries.

Shaikh Mohammad stressed that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is always keen on establishing the best relations with friendly countries and diversifying them to encompass all fields.

On his part, Kagame emphasised his country’s interest in benefiting from the UAE’s successful development experience. Shaikh Mohammad and Kagame also discussed current regional and international developments of mutual concern. A number of shaikhs and senior officials attended the meeting.
