Mohammad bin Rashid's Twitter followers top 5 million

Dubai: Followers on social media website Twitter of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have reached five million.

His followers on all the social media networks have so far reached 10.5 million, of whom 5.01 million followers are on the Twitter, constituting 47 per cent.

Shaikh Mohammad's Twitter handle @HHShkMohd draws followers from across the Arab world, Europe, America and Asia, but many followers come from the GCC states, accounting for 62 per cent, followed by Egypt with 8 per cent, the US, the UK, India, Asia and other European countries.

He is deemed one of the five most influential global political leaders in terms of the number of followers on the network LinkedIn, the largest network for specialists in the world, with about 400 million dedicated professionals.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid is also one of the most influential leaders with the most follow-up numbers in the Middle East, according to periodic statistics of LinkedIn.
