Five-car pile-up causes traffic congestion in Ras al Khor

Dubai: A five-car pile up at 12 noon on Sunday on Ras Al Khor Street left no injuries but resulted in traffic congestion as the policeman who arrived at the accident site faced difficulties, according to Dubai Police’s Traffic Department.

The pile-up was cause by lane discipline violations and failure to keep a safe distance between cars. However, due to the number of violations committed by the drivers of the five cars, a patrol had to intervene to complete the accident report. It took about two hours to remove all the cars from the site and open the road for traffic.
