Dubai: Philanthropist, financier and health advocate Michael Milken visited Emirates Hospital in Jumeirah last month, touring the new facility and the MRI ward named after him in recognition of his contributions.

Milken, who was known as ‘the man who changed medicine’- was featured in Fortune magazine in recognition of his four decades of successfully advancing solutions to the challenges of medical research and public health.

The tour highlighted the 140,000-square-foot hospital’s world-class facilities and services, including an emergency department with 24/7 emergency care.
