Sign up as a volunteer for DIFF
Are you a movie buff and you want access to the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF)? What better way to do it than volunteer? Interested? If you are, check out the requirements.
- The Dubai Film Festival runs from December 9 to 17, and will open with the film Bobby, which stars Demi Moore, Sharon Stone, Christian Slater, Martin Sheen and Elijah Wood.

Who can join?
- College and university students at all levels and any nationality.
- You must be over the age of 15 and speak English well.
- Knowledge of other languages, especially Arabic, is highly valued.
Why should you volunteer?
- An opportunity to be involved in DIFF.
- You get access to festival screenings.
- You gain valuable experience in a professional environment.
- You receive a Certificate of Appreciation signed by the DIFF Chairman.
- You get an invitation to an exclusive post-festival staff party
- A wonderful networking opportunity.
What can you do during the DIFF?
- Help out in the offices prior to the event.
- Assist with Guest Relations at the airport and host hotels
- Usher patrons at the various screening venues
- Help coordinate guest transportation, to register delegates, and to perform office duties at the festival headquarters at Dubai Media City and at the Madinat Jumeirah.
How can I volunteer?
- Fill out the application form online. Log on to: www.dubaifilmfest.com
- Upon receipt of the application, you will be added to the database of possible volunteers.
- You will be notified by e-mail and instructed to attend the DIFF Volunteer Orientation Meeting in early November.
