157 applications for residential plots approved in Sharjah

Sharjah: Nearly 160 citizens have had their applications for new residential plots approved, officials have said.

The Permanent Committee for Land Allocation in Sharjah approved yesterday (Wednesday) 157 applications for residential plots to Emiratis who met the necessary requirements in Sharjah and cities of the central region.

The move comes in an implementation of directives of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.

The approvals have been given after considering and discussing the applications and ensuring their compliance with necessary requirements, Waleed Bin Falah Al Mansouri, the committee chairman, said.
