Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, issued a law amending some provisions of Law No 1 of 2003 for setting up Etihad Airways.
As per the amendments, the board of directors of the Etihad Aviation Group will now also be the board of directors for Etihad Airways. As per this law, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, issued a resolution restructuring the board of Etihad Aviation Group under the chairmanship of Mohammad Mubarak Bin Fadil Al Mazroui.
The resolution also named members of the board, which included Ahmad Ali Mohammad Al Sayegh, Khalifa Sultan Ahmad Al Suwaidi, Hamad Abdullah Rashid Al Shamsi, Mohammad Khalifa Ahmad Al Mubarak, Mohammad Hareb Sultan Al Yousuf and Ahmad Ali Mattar Al Rumaithi.
