Dubai: With the holy month of Ramadan approaching, hotels have started to launch deals for iftar and suhour.

Food consumption tends to increase in the run-up to and during Ramadan, a month of fasting.

At Atlantis The Palm, residents from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can book deluxe rooms starting from Dh1,075. The offer is valid from June 19.

From June 28 to July 27, MasterCard holders can get a 20 per cent discount on iftar and suhour in Jumeirah’s properties, including Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers and Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Diners also get a 15 per cent discount on the best available room rates at participating hotels, valid for stays until December 31.

At the Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, visitors are being offered an iftar buffet for Dh85, with 20 per cent off if they book before June 25.
