Abu Dhabi: The Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash has issued a ministerial circular on the reduction of work hours in the UAE - in accordance with article 65 of the federal law number 8 of year 1980 on regulation of work relations and its amendments.
As per the resolution, the work hours of private sector companies will be reduced from eight to six hours, without affecting the salaries of employees.
The ministry congratulated President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses Rulers of Emirates, government and people of the UAE on the advent of Ramadan.
