This application is a 3D live wallpaper package tailor-made for the season. A few of the many live wallpapers include a fireplace, snowfall through a window and a decorated mantelpiece.
Talking Santa Free
After a talking cat and dog, I guess anything is possible. Talking Santa is a free app that features, you guessed it, a talking Santa, who repeats everything you say while interacting with your on-screen gestures. You can even tickle, smack and poke Santa!

This free application takes up a modest 3.9MB of your phone’s memory and in return, offers you Christmas music from over 50 radio stations. The genres of the music stations include a range from rock and jazz to country and old classics.
The Christmas List
This one allows you to add or choose iPhone contacts, allocate a spending budget per person and synchronise your list via email. Users can also countdown the number of days left to shop before Christmas and use a tracker to note down the status of each gift.
Good Food Festive Recipes
The BBC Good Food application features more than 180 recipes featuring beverages, canapés and a wide range of vegetarian options.

Santa Tracker is a fun and interactive app that will bring joy and anticipation to your little ones. Once you load in your child’s bedtime, the application then uses your smartphone’s GPS location to show you where Santa currently is!

The application features a user-friendly interface with over 30 preloaded Christmas classics such as Joy to the World, Silent Night and The First Noel.

Similar to fireplace applications across other platforms, this application allows you to choose between a festive fireplace decked in seasonal baubles and a basic traditional fireplace after you have had enough of the festivities.

This app has more than 100 jokes, sufficient to keep friends and family in jolly spirits, one of my personal favourites being: What did Santa say to Mrs Claus when he looked out the window? Looks like rain, dear!
