Dubai: Northbound traffic on Shaikh Zayed Road in New Dubai ground to a slow crawl throughout Tuesday due to a build-up of vehicles in the approach to a new 16-lane flyover on Shaikh Zayed Road for the Dubai Creek extension.

The eight-lane bridge that will carry traffic heading towards Sharjah is currently receiving finishing touches and caused slower travel times for vehicles on Dubai’s busiest highway.
