Dubai: Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (ESCA) said on Thursday it will start charging fees of newly introduced services for public shareholding companies and auditors listed with the regulator.

The fees will be charged from Thursday and could be anywhere from Dh500-100,000, it said in a statement posted on the website.

The services will include establishing public shareholding companies, conversion of public shareholding companies, renewing the registration of public shareholding companies, listing local, foreign and joint public shareholding companies, renewing the listing of local, foreign and joint public shareholding companies, cancelling listing of public shareholding companies, approving class switching, licensing registrar of private shareholding companies. The auditors will have to contact the regulator for studying their application and registering their company before October 28.
