Emirates to fly A380 to Sao Paulo on November 14

One-off service will mark its eighth year of operations in Brazil

Dubai: Emirates airline will operate the first commercial Airbus A380 flight to Brazil and South America, according to a statement on Tuesday.

The airline will take the double-decker aircraft to Guarulhos International Airport, Sao Paulo on November 14.

The one-off service will mark its eighth year of operations in Brazil, which it began in 2007 with daily flights between Dubai and Sao Paulo.

Emirates expanded its presence in Brazil with the start of a daily service between Dubai and Rio de Janeiro.
