Dubai Municipality offers Makani data for free

Dubai: Dubai Municipality will now offer free data service of its Makani digital addressing system on its website. the civic body said on Wednesday.

The users must abide by the municipality’s liability policy. The database must be used properly and Makani data cannot be sold to anyone. However, it can be used in private applications even if it is for profit as long as these applications serve public interest. The data should be credited to Dubai Municipality, the official source for the publication and dissemination of Makani data.
