Aeroplane suffers bird hit while landing in Coimbatore
Sharjah: An Air Arabia flight from Sharjah to Coimbatore, India, was hit by a bird while landing on Monday. There were no injuries reported.
An Air Arabia spokesperson said the return flight — — G9414 bound for Sharjah from Coimbatore on the same day — was rescheduled because of the bird hit at Coimbatore International Airport.
“The flight will take off as soon as necessary checks are completed. Passengers were offered hotel stay and all necessary assistance. We regret any inconvenience caused. The safety of our passengers and crew remains Air Arabia’s highest priority,” the spokesperson added.
