Dubai: If you plan to drive towards Abu Dhabi early morning on National Day, be careful as it could be a misty on Wednesday morning. But the rest of the day will be perfect for the outdoors as the weather will be pleasant and sunny.

Mist is expected to form in the western part of the country in Al Ruwais, Sila, Owtaid, Mukhariz, Mezaira and Rezeen. Mist is composed of water droplets suspended in the air due to changes in humidity that reduces visibility to between 1km and 2km.

The remainder of the day on Wednesday will be partly cloudy in general as the amount of low clouds will increase. Towards the eastern part of the country over the mountains, there are chances of convective cloud formation that may be associated with rain, according to a forecaster from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology. The same weather is expected to continue until Friday.

The forecaster said there will not be a big change in the temperatures for the next three days. The coastal parts such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain will have between 24C and 27C while internal areas will be between 27C and 31C. Jebel Jais will be the coldest part with between 10C and 21C.

Those planning to go swimming could do so as the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be moderate in general.
