Dubai: Traffic accidents broke out across the city on Tuesday, causing further delays for commuters already stuck in the morning rush hour.
Two accidents were reported on Shaikh Zayed Road at around 8am; one accident after Safa Park and the other before the Dubai Canal, Abu Dhabi-bound.

A third accident happened on Al Ittihad Road near the intersection at Dubai International Airport, adding further traffic to a route that is typically congested during the rush hour from Sharjah to Dubai.

Traffic snarls was also reported on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed (MBZ) Road from Al Khail Road up to the Dubai Investments Park interchange, in addition to Maktoum Bridge towards the World Trade Centre, and on Hessa Street from MBZ Road that heads towards the Jumeirah area.

A fourth accident happened on Maliha Road towards Emirates road, adding tailbacks to all routes to Dubai from Sharjah.
